Hydrographic Internet Map ServiceThe purpose of this internet map service is to provide an online geographic interface to various types of water resources data compiled by the USGS as a part of ongoing studies in Florida. Depending on how the data are organized, one or more subsidiary sites will be developed for the data, starting with the Saline Intrusion Monitoring, Miami-Dade County, Florida site. The software chosen to view and serve these data employs programming languages and techniques which may not be supported in all browsers. In addition, the USGS recognizes that online maps are not accessible to the entire public. Where possible, alternative web pages are provided so that the same basic data can be accessed using text-based navigation. | |
